First MLB game

Robert's family was in town last weekend.  Saturday night we all went to see the Braves vs Cardinals.  Or at least we tried to...

Rain was in the forecast, so we came prepared with umbrellas and ponchos.

I'm not in this one since I was the photographer.

They were having breast cancer awareness night, so we all got pink tomahawks and signs to hold up on national television after the 5th inning.

So excited!

A lovely opening tribute, national anthem, and then this...

For 2 hours

Thankfully our seats were beneath the seating above us, so we had some shelter.

For 2 hours.

There was eating.

And shopping.

After two hours, they finally postponed the game until the next day.  I will blog that later.  We had fun wandering around the stadium and hanging out though.

I will leave you with one picture.

3 identical cars at my house.

Wet soccer

E played some soccer in the rain.  A nice pouring rain.  And, bless their hearts, they were majorly the underdogs.  We started the game with only 6 kids.  Well, 8 are on the field at a time.  We had a boy show up during the first half, so we had 7, but one down and no chance to sub.  Our boys were worn out!  I understand sometimes you have to miss, but we never have our full team.

E played offense the first half and defense the second half.

The three team redheads on offense.

You can see the strain in Eric's neck in this one.

Not holding my breath that these socks will come clean.
